After nearly 20 years of service to affordable housing and survivors of domestic violence, Lisa Beran will retire from Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) on Friday, November 30, 2018. Currently KHC’s deputy executive director of Housing Production and Programs, Lisa has served over 10 years  on KHC’s executive team, initially serving as KHC’s general counsel and deputy overseeing legal services, leading corporate contracting, internal policy development, corporate compliance, and litigation.

On December 1, 2018, Wendy Smith will join KHC’s executive team as deputy executive director to oversee Housing Production and Programs. Wendy joined KHC’s leadership team in 2013 and has been instrumental in driving initiatives such as strategic planning, multifamily preservation, asset management, and policy development. With over 23 years of experience in affordable housing and community development, Wendy understands housing programs, project finance, and the importance of partnerships in fulfilling KHC’s mission. Under Wendy’s leadership, we will continue KHC’s dedication to advancing our housing programs, strengthening our partnerships, and making an impact on the lives of those we serve. Wendy will look forward to meeting with partners over the next couple of months as she transitions into her new role.
