Pennrose is proud to announce the redevelopment of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center in New Brunswick, NJ, has been awarded the Mixed-Use Deal of the Year award from NAIOP.
New Brunswick Performing Arts Center is a $171.8 million, 450,000-square-foot redevelopment project that includes two world class theatres, 207 apartments, 30,000 square feet of office space and a parking garage. This successful public-private partnership project is the centerpiece of a redevelopment initiative that will transform New Brunswick’s downtown cultural arts district.
The award recognized all the stakeholders that made this project possible, including New Brunswick Development Corp. (DEVCO), Pennrose Properties, the city of New Brunswick, Middlesex County, Rutgers University, New Brunswick Cultural Center, New Jersey Economic Development Authority, New Brunswick Parking Authority, AJD Construction, Elkus Architects, Investors Bank, AEGON, CITI and TD Bank.
