Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development has been receiving feedback as well as talking internally to find out what needs clarification in the 2017 QAP and Guide. Additional reference material is available in the form of an Additional Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document. The document makes clarifications on twinned projects:
9%/4% Twinned Project Scoring: These projects will first need to receive a 9% award. 9% scoring will be handles as follows: Income Targeting score will be calculated only using units associated with the 9% credit. Direct Leveraging score will include amounts from bonds and 4% equity towards the leveraging funds amount.

Reminder: 2018 Competitive Funding Round Deadline
Applications for the 2018 Competitive Funding Round are due by Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:00 PM. Applications must be delivered to the mailroom on the ground floor of 7800 Harkins Road, Lanham, Maryland 20706. The 2018 Competitive Funding Round will be governed by the 2017 QAP and Guide both of which are dated March 19, 2018 and available on the DHCD website.
