The recently enacted federal omnibus appropriations bill includes a 12.5% increase to each state’s 9% tax credit allocation for years 2018 through 2021. TCAC will add the additional credits available for 2018 to the second round credit estimate. The 1st round credit estimate remains unchanged.
The federal omnibus appropriations bill allows tax credit projects to income average. Please see the proposed TCAC emergency regulations changes to implement this concept in California. The comment period is open through April 20.
