Consistent with the revised opportunity mapping methodology published on November 17, 2017, TCAC is now releasing the revised TCAC/HCD Opportunity Area Maps and the corresponding Summary Table of data and tract designations at http://www.treasurer.ca.gov/ctcac/opportunity.asp. While the maps are not yet interactive and therefore do not allow you to determine a site’s designation by typing in an address (TCAC hopes to provide that in the early part of 2018), you can easily look up any particular census tract’s designation on the Summary Table using the instructions at the top. There is one spreadsheet for all tracts statewide and individual spreadsheets for each mapping region.
The use of these maps in 2018 and beyond will depend on the outcome of the Committee’s deliberations on December 13 regarding the proposed regulation changes.
