Minnesota Housing will receive $3,118,428 from the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Federal Fiscal Year 2017.

Minnesota Housing will have a public comment period through Wednesday, July 5, 2017. You can review a draft allocation plan for the funds before submitting your comments.

How to Provide Feedback

  • A public hearing on the NHTF allocation plan will be held on Wednesday, July 5 from 4 to 5 p.m. to gather citizen input on the draft plan. The hearing will be at Minnesota Housing’s offices at 400 Sibley Street, Suite 300, St. Paul.
  • You can get hard copies of the draft plan or more information on the hearing by calling Minnesota Housing at 1.800.657.3769 or TTY 651.297.2361.
  • Public comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5. Comments can be submitted the following ways:
    • Mail to NHTF Allocation Plan, Minnesota Housing, 400 Sibley Street, Suite 300, St. Paul, MN 55101.
    • Fax to 651.296.8139.
    • Email to mn.housing@state.mn.us. Type “NHTF Allocation Plan” in your email subject line to be sure your comments are considered.

Minnesota Housing will consider comments from individuals or groups received in writing or at the public hearing. We will include a summary of the written and public hearing comments and Minnesota Housing’s responses in the plan.
