Ryan joined Cinnaire in 2011 as an Asset Manager. In 2013, he was promoted to Vice President of Fund Management and was responsible for managing more than 60 multi-investor funds, proprietary funds and guaranteed funds. In 2015, Ryan’s role was expanded to lead the Asset Management team as Vice President of Asset Management. In this role, he worked with Asset Management staff in six offices covering 12 states to manage Cinnaire’s portfolio of more than $3 billion. In addition to the various positions he has held, Ryan has taken a lead role in the Cinnaire Managers Group, establishment of the Staff Engagement Committee and various other initiatives. Ryan began his professional career at Plante Moran, PLLC, working as an auditor specializing in real estate and affordable housing. Prior to joining Cinnaire, Ryan worked as the Controller of a Lansing based Mutual Insurance Company. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science with a major in accounting from Michigan State University.
In his new position, in addition to leading the Asset Management team, Ryan will be responsible for Cinnaire’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which includes setting strategy to identify potential risks and managing those risks within the context of the organization’s objectives.
Ryan lives in downtown Lansing with his wife, Danielle. He serves on the Lansing Housing Commission Board. Ryan and Danielle enjoy volunteering for the Boys and Girls Club, Ele’s Place, Mother Teresa House, Volunteers of America, Junior Achievement, Haven House and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. They like to cheer on the Spartans at Michigan State University football games.
