Presented by TDHCA and TWC’s Civil Rights Division. Learn the basics about Fair Housing in Texas and apply what you learn in a review of case scenarios. This presentation will give general information about Fair Housing, including an overview of federal and state housing discrimination laws.
Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Austin local time: Reasonable Accommodations and Accessibility
Presented by TDHCA and TWC’s Civil Rights Division. Learn the basics about the reasonable accommodation process, such as what constitutes a reasonable accommodation and how property managers should respond. This presentation will include information on service and assistance animals.
