Laura Schwarz was named as the newest member of Reno and Cavanaugh, PLLC on January 1, 2017. Laura focuses her practice on representations of public housing authorities and developers involved in complex affordable housing development. She represents clients in transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs), Rental Assistance Demonstration funds, public housing financing, energy performance contracting and other federal and state sources. In addition to providing development counsel, Laura assists clients in addressing regulatory and operational issues ranging from the creation of tax-exempt instrumentalities to Section 3, Davis Bacon and Uniform Relocation Act compliance.
