Many supporters have already reached out to their own networks and asked, will you help us #BuildOnTheTrust? Please consider emailing your partners, customers, clients, etc. and ask them to sign their support to Home Matters to Ohio. Here’s a sample email:

We need your help! We are asking our partners inside and outside of housing and community development to join us and consider supporting the Home Matters to Ohio campaign to increase the Trust Fund in next year’s state biennial budget.

Home Matters to Ohio is a statewide, broad-based, and growing campaign to expand the Ohio Housing Trust Fund – our State’s primary and most significant resource for Ohioans when home is out of reach.

The Trust Fund provides safe, affordable, and quality homes for Ohio’s most vulnerable – low-wage families, disabled, seniors, veterans, and homeless. The Trust Fund supports emergency homeless shelters, handicapped and senior accessibility modifications, affordable housing development, and emergency home repair in all of Ohio’s 88 counties.

Building on the Trust creates a stable foundation for families entering the workforce, individuals overcoming addiction, veterans returning home, and more.  The Trust Fund, by providing both housing security and support, can make Ohio more productive, healthier, and stronger.

Please use this online form and join over 250 organizations who have signed on to support the Home Matters to Ohio campaign. Join the campaign today and together we can #BuildOnTheTrust!

About the Home Matters to Ohio Campaign:

The Home Matters to Ohio campaign is dedicated to build a broad, cross-sector alliance of supporters. In response to some organizations who were hesitant about endorsement language, the campaign has updated the form to better reflect the intention of garnering “support.”

An online brochure is also available so you can readily share more information with your partners about the Trust Fund and why it needs to be expanded.

Please feel free to widely share this brochure. If you have any questions or any other updates, please email the campaign at [email protected].
