Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) partnered with RentLinx to create KYRents.com, which was a free, online connection for both low-income renters to find affordable, available housing and for partnering property owners and managers to list their available units.
Upcoming changes to the RentLinx service will affect the KY Rents website. RentLinx has changed their business model and will discontinue the free service for property managers beginning January 2017. This means that property managers who wish to list a property on RentLinx would have to subscribe to one of their paid subscriptions.
As a result, the KY Rents website will be shut down by Friday, December 30, 2016.
At this time, there are no alternatives to be able to continue hosting a free website for property listings and searches.
