The placed in service checklist and Form B have been updated. Owners should begin utilizing the new documents immediately.  For owners currently preparing placed in service packages with previous versions of these forms already completed, these may be submitted to TCAC.  TCAC staff asks that placed in service packages submitted after December 15 use the updated checklist and forms.  Please contact the placed in service staff referenced on the webpage with any questions.

Changes include:

  • A requirement to update the ownership portions of the Excel application replaces the Project Ownership Profile form.
  • An electronic version of the legal description and assessor’s parcel number (APN) is now required.  TCAC staff will insert this into the regulatory agreement when preparing the agreement.
  • Clarification regarding the investor’s equity letter and the basis and credits calculation has been added.  An updated sample investor equity letter is on the TCAC webpage.
  • Certification templates for owner, architect, and energy analyst replace owner-generated certifications.  Please use the certification template that corresponds to the year of the TCAC award.
  • A section has been added to the checklist for points and tie breaker documentation.  TCAC staff have been verifying these items; this section reminds owners to provide verification of the items committed to in competitive applications.
