Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) is in the process of drafting an Allocation Plan for the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF). Later this year, approximately $3 million of NHTF resources will be available to the state to assist with the construction or rehabilitation of housing for extremely low-income families and seniors. WHEDA is currently accepting comments for the NHTF Allocation Plan, and will start a 30-day public comment period on June 20, 2016, the same day as an upcoming public hearing on the topic.
