Florida Housing will hold a workshop on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. to discuss a Request for Applications (RFA) to finance the construction, retrofit and/or rehabilitation of small Permanent Supportive Housing Developments that are either Community Residential Homes or Supported Living Units. The Community Residential Homes may serve no more than six (6) residents and the Supported Living Units may serve no more than eight (8) residents. An estimated $5,740,684.50 in grant funding will be made available to Non-Profit organizations that have a primary mission which includes serving Persons with Developmental Disabilities.
The meeting will be available in person at Florida Housing Finance Corporation, 227 N. Bronough Street, 6th Floor Seltzer Room, Tallahassee, Florida. The workshop will also be available by telephone. The instructions for dialing in are posted to the webpage.
An agenda and a draft RFA will be available prior to the workshop. A webboard announcement will be sent out when these documents are available. The RFA is expected to be issued on Friday, March 11, 2016. Applications are expected to be due on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
