Florida Posts New Draft of RFA 2016-101

A new draft of RFA 2016-101 for HOME Financing to be used for Rental Developments Located in Rural Areas has been posted to the webpage.

In this draft, please note the following changes:

• The subsidy amounts have been increased
• The minimum number of units has been reduced to 10 units
• The maximum number of units has been increased to 50 units
• The minimum number of units required to meet the HOME Funding Experience Preference has been reduced to 10
• Two items from the Sorting Order in the Funding Selection process have been removed and replaced with a new item

A review committee meeting has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on April 20, 2016. The Review Committee meeting will be to give the scores and to submit a recommendation to Florida Housing’s Board of Directors regarding the responses submitted. It will be held in the Rick Seltzer Conference Room, Suite 6000, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, 227 North Bronough Street, Tallahassee, Florida, 32301-1329.

The RFA is expected to be issued on Friday, January 22, 2016, with Applications due by 11:00 a.m. on February 25, 2016.
