The Woda Group, Inc. announced the addition of Chris LaGrand as Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel. Mr. LaGrand joined The Woda Group, Inc., effective December 2, 2015. In his position, Mr. LaGrand will be responsible for support and direct development activity with focus on legal, policy, and process issues, assisting with deal selection, housing credit application, administration issues, and deal closing matters/activities, as well as leading the pre-construction team and process.
Mr. LaGrand previously spent ten years with Michigan State Housing Development Authority first as an Attorney, then as the Director of Legal Affairs, and most recently as Chief Housing Investment Officer. Mr. LaGrand’s background also includes positions with Michigan Broadband Development Authority, Office of Governor John Engler, Office of Regulatory Reform, and Office of Congressman Pete Hoekstra.
The Woda Group promoted James Zambori, CPA, to Director of Accounting – Management. In this position, Mr. Zambori will be responsible for all day to day accounting and annual reporting for the management division, Woda Management & Real Estate.
Mr. Zambori started working for The Woda Group in 1997. Mr. Zambori has held several positions throughout his time with The Woda Group including Financial Reporting Controller, Senior Property Accountant, Compliance Accounting Manager, and most recently Director of Development Reporting.
Prior to joining The Woda Group, Mr. Zambori spent 9 years with McManis & Associates, Inc. as their Senior Accountant.
