Following a series of regional stakeholder meetings, the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development announced its plan to draft the 2016 QAP. DHCD plans to issue a draft QAP and Guide for comment by the end of January 2016 and adopt a new QAP and Guide by Spring 2016.
UPDATE on February 3, 2016
Following the Regional Meetings, it was our goal to issue a draft of the Qualified Allocation Plan and Multifamily Rental Financing Program Guide for comment by the end of January 2016. Unfortunately, it is taking us longer than expected to complete the draft, and we were unable to meet this goal. At this point, we plan on issuing a draft by mid- February 2016. It is the Department’s goal to complete this process and adopt a new Qualified Allocation Plan and Multifamily Rental Financing Program Guide by spring 2016.
