As a reminder, if you are calculating your utility allowance using an alternate Public Housing Authority (“PHA”), a Written Local Estimate, the HUD Utility Schedule Model, the Energy Consumption Model or the Agency Estimate, you are required to review the allowance annually (10TAC§10.614(i)).
Due to the ninety (90) day notification requirement for these methods, you should have submitted the request to the Compliance Division by October 1, 2015. If you have not done so, please do immediately.
Due to email size restrictions, please upload your request, along with all documentation used in calculating the utility allowance, to the property’s CMTS. To ensure a timely response, notify the Department of the upload by sending an email to [email protected]. Be sure that all requests are complete as incomplete requests may result in delayed or denied approvals.
