The State of Minnesota is developing its 2016 Action Plan and 2015 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). We encourage you to participate in the development of both documents.
- Action Plan: The state submits an Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) each year. The 2012-2016 Consolidated Plan examines the state’s housing and community development needs, and sets priorities for allocating HUD funds including, for the first time, the federal Housing Trust Fund. The annual Action Plan directs how the state will meet current and future needs in the coming year.
- CAPER: The state also submits the CAPER to HUD annually. The CAPER provides information to measure the state’s progress during the past year in meeting the Consolidated Plan’s goals. It includes a summary and analysis of progress made on advancing fair housing. The CAPER will be submitted to HUD on or before December 31, 2015.
Information about attending public hearings and sharing your comments on the Action Plan and CAPER is available on the website.
