The Department of Housing & Urban Development has extended the comment period for the draft revised MAP Guide it released earlier this year. The comment period now ends May 14, 2015. The draft guide and instructions for submitting comments are on the HUD website here.
HUD Invites Stakeholder Feedback on Revised MAP Guide
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released recently a draft form of an updated Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide. The agency is inviting stakeholders to provide feedback for a period of 60 days, ending Thursday, April 30, 2015.
The National Council of Housing Market Analysts will discuss the draft with HUD officials at the 2015 NCHMA Spring Meeting on Tuesday, March 31 in Washington, DC. NCHMA has provided suggestions and feedback to HUD over several years to ensure the market study portion (Chapter 7) of the MAP Guide aligns with industry practices and standards. Stakeholders are encouraged to attend the meeting to be part of these ongoing discussions.
