HUD recently announced the FY 2014 Choice Neighborhood Planning Grant awardees. HUD is awarding $3.2 million in Choice Neighborhood Planning Grants to the following recipients:

The Choice Neighborhood Planning provide grant assistance to recipients to help develop comprehensive, locally driven plans to revitalize and transform distressed neighborhoods. The Choice Neighborhood Initiative also awards implementation grants through a separate grant application.
NH&RA will take a deeper look at the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative and other HUD mixed-finance programs at the upcoming Public Housing Joint Venture Symposium, taking place February 18 in Key Largo, Florida.
