QAP and Funding Deadlines
- Alaska: AHFC announced the start of the FY 2015 GOAL competition. Registration requests will be accepted via email through June 19, 2014. The formal pre-application deadline will be on July 3, 2014.
- Minnesota: Minnesota Housing announced the availability of an estimated $70 million in funding through the 2014 consolidated Request for Proposals (RFP) and $12.5 million in 2015 Housing Tax Credits (Round 1). The application deadline is June 10, 2014 by 5:00 PM.
- Oregon: OHCS announced the 2014 Notice for Funding Availability for LIHTC and HOME Funds. Applications must be submitted by August 15, 2014.
- Wyoming: WCDA announced the availability of funds through an application period for $3,000,000 in LIHTC Funds and $5,025,000 available in HOME funds. The application deadline is August 22, 2014.
QAP Drafts, Comment Periods, & Public Hearings
- California: CTCAC released proposed minor regulation changes for the 2014 California QAP. These recommendations will be taken into consideration and adoption on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
- Florida: The 2015 Florida QAP is now available on the Florida Housing Website.
- Kentucky: KHC is seeking input on the state’s LIHTC Post 15 year policy and is asking for input and suggestions on ways to improve current policies to better accommodate projects during the extended use period. Please submit your comments to Amanda Bess at abess@kyhousing.org by Wednesday, June 18, 2014.
- Maryland: DHCD held a public hearing for the 2014 Draft Maryland QAP last week. The 2014 Draft Maryland QAP is available on their website.
- Oregon: OHCS has adopted temporary rules for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program which adopts the requirements for transferring owner interest in a project and amend the monitoring and compliance requirements.
- Tennessee: THDA released the 2015 Draft Tennessee QAP. Written comments for the 2014 Draft Tennessee QAP will be accepted until July 14. Please submit comments by email to Michael Blade, Director and Assistant Legal Counsel for Multifamily Development, at MBlade@thda.org.
- Utah: Utah Housing will host a public hearing for the 2015 Utah QAP on June 19, 2014. A draft of the 2015 Utah QAP will be available on June 12.
- Virginia: VHDA will host a 2015 QAP Forum on Thursday, July 17 at the Virginia Housing Center in Glen Allen, and remotely at their southwest location in Wytheville.
- Washington: WSHFC is currently accepting comments for the 2015 9% Housing Credit. You may send an outline of your policy issue for consideration to Leslie Brinson Price at leslie.price@wshfc.org until Friday, June 13, 2014
QAP Reservation Lists
- Colorado: CHFA received 29 Letters of Intent for their second round 2014 LIHTC Funds, totaling $27,628,618 in annual credit requests.
- Ohio: OHFA has posted competitive proposal applications for all projects and narratives for the projects that received points in the “Areas of Distinction” category in the 2014 funding round.
