QAP Deadlines

• Minnesota: Minnesota Housing announced the availability of an estimated $70 million in funding through the 2014 consolidated Request for Proposals (RFP) and $12.5 million in 2015 Housing Tax Credits (Round 1). The application deadline is June 10, 2014 by 5:00 PM.

QAP Drafts, Comment Periods, & Public Hearings

• Michigan: The Draft 2015-2016 Qualified Allocation Plan will be presented to the MSHDA Board for review and discussion at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on May 28, 2014 at 11:30 AM.
• Oregon: The Draft Oregon 2014 QAP is available and you may view the draft on Oregon Housing and Community Services’ website.

Other Programs

• New York: NYSHCR will host Public Hearings on June 3 and 4 to receive comments on the 2015 Annual Action Plan which will describe the state’s use of federal CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA funds.
• Ohio: Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is seeking comments for the 2014 Housing Development Gap Financing Program. OHFA staff will continue to obtain and consider comments until June 1, 2014.

Other News:

• Colorado: CHFA announced that it has completed the first LIHTC allocation round of 2014. The agency received 26 first round applications, seeking a more than $25 million in housing credit combined. Awards are being made to seven developments, with a total amount of $6,816,242 in annual credit allocated.
