For the FY 2013, the Arizona Department of Housing expects to allocate approximately $1,232,588 in Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) Project funds for State Special Projects (SSP). There will be one competitive funding round and the application deadline is on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 4:00PM. The application process for the SSP funding is described in the CDBG Application Handbook. All SSP applications must demonstrate that the project is ready to proceed immediately
and will be completed within no more than 24 months from the time of award. Additionally, project types listed on Appendix B of the most current State of Arizona Annual Action Plan with a priority ranging of “High” or “Medium” for public facilities and improvements, community or supportive housing facilities, housing, and economic development are eligible to apply.
