The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation announced the start of the FY2014 GOAL Competition, which provides grants, federal tax credits, and zero-interest federal loans to developers and project sponsors to build affordable housing for low to moderate income families and seniors. The program is open to all for-profit corporations, nonprofit agencies, and regional housing authorities. Registration requests will be accepted through 4:30PM on July, 5 2013 and the formal pre-application deadline is 4:30PM on July 19, 2013.
