HUD has announced that Margaret Salazar has been named Deputy Director of the Office of Affordable Housing Preservation (OAHP). Ted Toon, who previously held the position of Director of OAHP, is currently detailed as Acting Director of the Office of Multifamily Housing Development. Therefore, Margaret will also serve as Acting Director of OAHP and manage its ongoing programs. As the OAHP team has been increasing its role in the implementation of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), Margaret will also oversee the integration of RAD into OAHP until a final decision has been made on forming an official office for RAD and other related recapitalization activities.
