The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has released an Unnumbered Letter (UL) to provide guidance on the Rural Development Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) processes for multifamily properties. The guidance is comprised of nine main sections and will affect property owners involved in a CNA as well as CNA Providers. A few of the revisions relate to CNA reviews and the roles of the reviewer as assigned by Rural Development and the loan officials.
