The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has issued a notice stating that Private Activity Bonds applicants are now required to submit a Pre-Inducement Questionnaire prior to submitting the bond pre-application. The purpose of the questionnaire is to communicate TDHCA’s objectives and policies regarding the development of affordable housing using tax-exempt bond financing and for TDHCA to get a preliminary understanding of proposed developments prior to the receipt of pre-applications and corresponding fees.
