HUD has issued a summary of the public comments received on the agency’s draft environmental justice strategy released in September 2011, the agency’s response to those comments and the final document. The Environmental Justice Strategy outlines HUD’s effort to improve and expand its commitment to avoiding disproportionately high and adverse human health or environmental effects on minority and low-income populations, as well as creating geographies of opportunity.
