HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research is conducting a comprehensive study of the housing needs of Native Americans, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians, and recently announced the latest updates to the study. In addition, HUD is holding a series of tribal leader consultations that will build upon the outreach sessions held jointly by the Office of Native American Programs (ONAP) and the Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) between December 2010 and March 2011. The first was held on March 5. A total of eight meetings are planned.
