The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has released a revised draft of the 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). In the revised draft, KHC has indicated that 60 percent of 2013 LIHTCs will be forward committed to projects that applied in the October 3, 2011, round. Of this amount, 20 percent will be allocated to projects previously unfunded from the October 3 round, excluding federally-assisted rehabilitation projects and the remaining 40 percent will be allocated exclusively to new construction and adaptive reuse projects. As a result, there are several requirements for applicants that will receive forward allocations for applications submitted in October 2011.
