The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) has announced Barb Sporlein as its new Deputy Commissioner. Sporlein has an impressive background in affordable housing and community development, having worked for more than 20 years in the field. She most recently served as the Director of Planning for the City of Minneapolis. In her new role, Barb will be responsible for credit risk management, operations, talent management, and will take a lead role in the agency-wide strategic planning process.
