HUD has released new versions of the American Housing Survey 2005 and 2007 National datasets through its HUD USER web site. The updates correct a recently-discovered error, in which the cases added after 2003 were all coded as being not in metropolitan areas. Several other variables related to geography (such as weights and income limits) were also affected. The updated descriptive statistics files include spreadsheets which show the changed values.
