The Louisiana Housing Finance Authority previously announced a strategy to allocate the remaining TCAP funds for increases in costs for existing LIHTC projects. LHFA this week updated its scoring criteria for the remaining TCAP allocations. Projects will be scored and ranked according to the following criteria:
- Rural Projects: up to 30 points
- Projects that can expend funds within 60 days: up to 20 points
- Projects with TCAP funds whose request for additional GO-Zone credits was not filled during latest GO-Zone initiative and who are willing to accept TCAP funds in lieu of additional GO Zone credits: up to 15 points
