The House of Representatives Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing & Urban Development has released the Chairman’s mark-up for its FY-2011 the HUD Funding Bill.  The measure contains several major departures from the Obama Administrations proposed budget.  Most notably, the current version of the appropriations bill does not fund the Administrations Transformation of Rental Assistance program.  Additionally, the funding measure does not fund the still yet to be authorized Choice Neighborhoods Initiative. However, the measure does fund HOPE VI at $200,000,000 (equal to the FY-2010 combined funding of HOPE VI and CNI).  Funding highlights include:
