The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) executive director, Keith Molin, has announced that he will step away from the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the agency to facilitate the transition to a new director this fall. The change is effective July 1, 2010. Molin will leave the agency September 30 when his existing contract expires. The MSHDA board named MSHDA Director of Program Policy and Market Research Gary Heidel as interim executive director. Molin will continue with the Authority working on projects critical to MSHDA’s mission, including assisting with the transition, through September 30th.
New Interim Executive Director Gary Heidel was appointed director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Relations at MSHDA in 1986. He has been director of Program Policy & Market Research since 2002 and oversees staff responsible for government relations, communications, public relations, Web site, program development and evaluation, and market research.
