The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today issued a request for comment related to its American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Section 1512 reporting.  The comments are being solicited to:

  • Evaluate if the proposed information collection is necessary for the proper performance of the agency’s functions;
  • Evaluate the accuracy of the agency’s estimate of the burden of the proposed information collection; enhance the quality, utility and clarity of the collected information;
  • Enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and
  • Minimize the burden of information collection on those who are to respond.

Affected programs include the Public Housing Capital Fund, Energy and Green Retrofit Investments Program, Community Development Block Grants, and Tax Credit Assistance Program.  Interested parties should submit comments to HUD by April 2. Read More…
