HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies on February 23, 2010 on President Obama’s proposed budget. His prepared testimony covered a wide range of topics including stabilizing the single-family home market, the NSP program, implementing the ARRA and transforming HUD. Secretary Donovan also discussed vision and funding levels for key HUD programs including the National Housing Trust Fund, project-based rental assistance, Choice Neighborhoods Initiative, CDBG, HOME and the proposed reductions in funding of the Section 202 and 811 programs.
