The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) has released the final program regulations for the administration of its 2010 low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. The final regulations establish procedures for the reservation, allocation and compliance monitoring for both the Federal and State programs. The document defines key terms, establishes key program provisions, identifies eligibility requirements, and sets out the application process. California’s TCAC also recently released details on its estimated credit available in 2010.
