The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today released new guidance for the Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP). HUD’s new guidance includes:

  • Fees and Asset Management — addresses TCAP administrative, project compliance, and asset management costs that may occur during the implementation of the TCAP program
  • Projects with Existing Environmental Review — helps TCAP grantees meet the environmental review requirements for projects where an environmental review has been previously conducted by HUD staff for another HUD program
