The U.S. House of Representatives has passed H.R. 1674, which establishes the National Consumer Cooperative Bank as a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). As a CDFI, the nonprofit corporate affiliate of the Bank will now be able to receive competitive funding allocations under the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.  read more…
