The Alabama Housing Finance Authority has issued a notice of amendment to its low-income housing tax credit program’s 2009 qualified allocation plan (QAP). The amendment allows AHFA, in its discretion, to allocate tax credits to any project that has previously received an allocation of Gulf Opportunity (GO) Zone credits and is required to have received an allocation of housing credits in order to qualify for funding under the Tax Credit Assistance Program or Tax Credit Exchange Program established under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.  read more…
