As noted in section J of the Implementation of the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program (Operating Requirements) published in the Federal Register on May 6, 2008, the Department will consider, on a case-by-case basis, requests from a public housing agency (PHA) to project-base HUD-VASH vouchers in accordance with 24 CFR part 983. The purpose of this Notice is to provide guidance to those PHAs that were awarded HUD-VASH vouchers that are interested in project-basing a portion of these vouchers.
