The Kentucky Housing Corporation has scheduled a public hearing and developers’ forum for January 20 in Frankfort. The forum is concerning proposed amendments to the 2009 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) about the recapture of Housing Credits and other KHC funding from 2007, 2008 and 2009 projects to ensure that all KHC housing funds are utilized in a timely manner.
This forum is an opportunity for partners to discuss the processes outlined below and to offer suggestions on allocating Housing Credits in this unique financial market. In the event KHC must amend the QAP, this forum will be considered the public hearing for any such amendment. Additionally, since these plans include provisions for the recapture of Housing Credits awarded prior to January 1, 2009, these amendments may be retroactive to projects not yet placed in service. read more…
