Home Depot Foundation's Affordable Housing Built Responsibly Program

Grant: Through the Affordable Housing Built Responsibly grant program, The Home Depot Foundation administers millions of dollars in grants each year to nonprofit organizations whose missions align with the Foundation's interests in supporting the production and preservation of affordable, efficient and healthy housing. The Home Depot Foundation makes grants to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charities in the United States and to charitable organizations in Canada. NOFA for Section 538 Loan Guarantees

Loan: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Housing Service (RHS) is requesting for proposals for loan guarantees under the section 538 Guaranteed Rural Rental Housing Program (GRRHP) for 2010. Through the notice of funding availability (NOFA), $129,130,434 is made available for the new construction and the acquisition with rehabilitation of affordable rural rental housing. Eligible activities also include revitalization, repair, and transfer of existing direct section 515 housing, and properties involved in the Agency’s multi-family preservation and revitalization program. Indiana Solicits Proposals for Compliance Trainer

Professional Services: The Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA) has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a 2011 Multifamily Compliance Trainer. The successful applicant will contract with IHCDA to conduct three two-day Tenant File Workshop Sessions, one RHTC with Multi-layer Funding Tenant File Workshop session, and one Physical Inspection Workshop session throughout the state.
